Since there is a size limit, and my art pretty much always exceeds that limit, I am taking full advantage of the BBCoding system here and making it
all organized and fancy. I'll share how I did it for easier use in the future

Steps: Photobucket > Right click the thumbnail > Click view image
>Then it will give me the URL to the thumbnail size, which I use for my preview image here.
> Then, I just do this for the fullscreen link. URL Text

I would, but other than what is provided for us already, other BBCodes won't work. I've alreadr brought this up to a few programmers so hopefully we'll see some changes in that soon.

Anyway to post an image without hosting it elsewhere? We had this feature on the old forums, would be sad to lose it.

All I see is the upload attachment option, that it?

Yup, after you've added an attachment it will show up under your text field in a drop down box (so you can select one if you attach more than one). If you then click the "Place inline" button next to it, the image will be placed in the post itself.

Okay, I made the transition to the new forums, which are great, but not nearly as nice looking as the old ones. Anyway, does anyone have any idea on how to remove the white background and center my avatar. It looks pretty bad and was a struggle since I had to laboriously resize the picture and convert it to a JPEG and put it on a better sized canvas. Pretty hard for a photoshop idiot!

Yeah, there's still a bunch of improvements to make. You can post any suggestions you have for the forum in this thread: http://forum.nerdkingdom.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=54

Nice job Naoto. The right arm could stand to be shortened a bit though. By the way, are you still planning on doing that group shot?

I haven't seen anyone update this part of the forums in a long time, which is a shame!
What happened to all the lovely fanart! WHERE IS ALL THE FANART!
Anyways, here is something I wanted to redraw for a long time and I love how it came out.
If you wanna compare it to the original, be my guest

Oh, I like this! I always enjoy character concepts, though unfortunately I am rather ill talented with human figures. I do plants and aliens ;)

In any case, I really can’t think of anything I don’t like about this. I looked at your previous version as well. I have to say I prefer this one. They are both very good, but I like the ‘look’ of this one better for some reason. Especially the look on her face, its all, purposeful and distant, Epic. And the creature she is holding is sort of adorable. The background is also interesting. It gives the overall feel of the image a science fiction appearance, which I enjoy.

And if it makes you feel any better, I still post art now and then haha… mostly plants and writing to go along with them

Haha, yeah this was actually a redraw of one of my previous ones to see how far I've come in my drawing since this summer. Thank you. :3

I know, I've seen your thread, good stuff. :D

Hum indeed, i enjoy redrawing things from the past to see progress... only in my case it tends to come out as something completely unrelated haha, but i like your art, it is very free spirited i think. And glad you like my thread ha, i'd like to do more animal concepts or something other then plants, but as i said, not great at that sort of art.
